1. Booking
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment and a written confirmation from Series Tours. All bookings are subject to availability.
- 50% advance payment required to confirm any booking
- Remaining balance due 7 days before travel start date
- Bookings within 7 days of travel require full payment
- Quoted prices are in INR, valid for 7 days from quotation date
2. Payment
Payments via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), UPI, or credit/debit card. Cash accepted at our Cochin office. All online transactions are processed securely through Razorpay.
- Credit card payments may attract up to 2% convenience fee
- Foreign currency payments subject to prevailing exchange rates
- Receipt issued for all payments received
- Razorpay uses 256-bit SSL encryption, PCI DSS Level 1 compliant
- We do not store card details on our servers
3. Cancellation & Refunds
- 30+ days before travel: full refund of advance
- 15–30 days before travel: 50% refund of advance
- Within 15 days of travel: no refund
- No-shows or early departure: no refund for unused services
- Refunds processed within 7–10 business days
4. Changes & Modifications
We understand plans change. Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Date changes 15+ days before travel: no extra cost (subject to availability)
- Hotel upgrades/downgrades: rate differences apply
- Itinerary changes during trip: arranged where possible, price differences may apply
5. Liability
Series Tours acts as intermediary between travellers and service providers. While we vet all partners, liability is limited to services we directly provide.
- Not liable for delays or failures by third-party providers
- Travellers responsible for personal belongings and documents
- We recommend comprehensive travel insurance
- Maximum liability shall not exceed total booking amount
6. Force Majeure
Series Tours shall not be held responsible for failures due to events beyond reasonable control — natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, strikes, civil unrest, or extreme weather. We will offer alternatives or credit for future travel where possible.
7. Complaints & Disputes
We strive to resolve issues during your trip. Contact your tour coordinator immediately.
- Post-trip complaints: submit in writing within 14 days
- Acknowledged within 48 hours, resolved within 14 business days
- Disputes subject to jurisdiction of courts in Ernakulam, Kerala
8. Payment Processing (Razorpay)
All online payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a RBI-licensed payment aggregator.
- We accept credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and digital wallets
- Total amount including taxes displayed before confirmation
- Confirmation sent via email and/or WhatsApp
- Failed transactions: amount refunded within 5–7 business days
- 50% advance required; balance due 7 days before travel
